Wipro starts digital product compliance lab in Hyderabad.

The 10,000 squared feet lab will serve clients in the automotive defence, consumer electronics, aerospace, telecom, medical, energy and construction, the company said in a statement.

IT major Wipro on Wed announced the launch of a global digital product compliance lab in Hyderabad with international standards for safety and security for clients across industries.

The 10,000 sq feet lab will assist customers in automotive, defence, consumer electronics, aerospace, telecom, medical, energy and manufacturing, the company announced in an announcement.

It will be a bit of Tarang Labs, Wipro’s autonomous product qualification and compliance lab with testing capacities for electromagnetic adaptability, safety, environment, wi-fi, Bluetooth, shock and vibration, noise, material, calibration and medical projects.

Tarang Labs also gives consultancy services for standards compliance, certification testing, pre-certification testing and interoperability and is the only lab in Asia passed to testify wi-fi and Bluetooth devices.

“Security, agreement and certification are a critical part of the IoT and Industry 4.0 value statement, and this lab will empower customers to meet their product launch terms worldwide,” declared Harmeet Chauhan (Senior VP) and Global Head for Wipro’s Industrial and Engineering Services division.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary by T Telangana’s Information Technology and Industries & Commerce Department, began the lab. “Hyderabad has largely been known as an electronics, manufacturing and R&D substation of India. Wipro’s latest lab would be a boost for Make in Telangana action,” he said.
