South Africa defeat India in the 3rd T20I in Bangalore on Sunday by 9-wickets and with 3.1 overs to save. De Kock began the way in the total victory with a winning 79 off 52 balls.

The series ends level, with both teams having won one race each. The first match of the group was washed out in news for India.


India won the toss and preferred to bat first.

First Innings: 

Shikhar Dhawan hit the India innings off to a jolly start, but the rest of the Indian batsmen wilted on Sunday. Dhawan’s 36 was the highest single count from the India side,

 with only 3-others – Rishabh Pant (19), Ravindra Jadeja (19), Hardik Pandya (14)

 and running to prepare their scores into double digits. Beuran Hendricks (2/14), Kagiso Rabada (3/39) and were the picks of the bowlers for the visitors. Bjorn Fortuin (2/19), representing only his 2nd match, turned the energy of the India innings with 2-wickets in a single over, as India were left reeling 98/6 in the 15th over. India finally posted 134 in their 20 overs.

Second Innings: 

South Africa played home to the target, with new skipper Quinton de Kock cracking five sixes and six fours on the way to a crushing-victory. The captain shared a 76 runs reach with opener Reeza Hendricks before Hardik Pandya got India a breakthrough. The only joy for India in the sessions.
