This was Bangladesh’s first-ever T20 victory against India.
Batting first, India set a target of 148/6 for the visitors.
Mushfiqur Rahim hit a winning 60 guiding his team to success. In the post-match conference, Skipper Rohit Sharma commented about the first T20I loss. He stated that there were a couple of decisions that they didn’t make right on the field.

Bangladesh defeated India by 7-wickets in the first T20I at the Arun Jaitley stadium on Nov 03.

This was their first-ever winning over India in the short format of the game. Captain Rohit Sharma told that there were promising youngsters in the team and they want some time to get the game. Rohit also talked about Rishabh Pant’s play behind the wicket.

Rohit Sharma told that when the team is not in the best position, it trusts wicketkeeper and bowlers to make choices. Rohit Sharma told, “Rishabh is yet very young, he has hardly played 10-12 T20 games. So he will need time to understand these things.”
