Pakistan stops postal mail service A day after India took out an artillery attack on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan on Monday unilaterally closed postal mail service among the two nations.
Closing the move by Pakistan, India told it was in contravention of international norms.
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told Pakistan resorted to the move without providing any prior notification to India. Pakistan stops postal mail service
“Pakistan’s decision is immediately in contravention of international postal union norms. But Pakistan is Pakistan,” Prasad, who is the Minister for Communications and IT, was quoted as stating by news agency PTI.
The minister added that Pakistan “without any prior notice or knowledge has ceased sending postal department’s letter to India”.
