JioFiber broadband: Reliance Jio, the telecom arm of Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries, on Thursday launched JioFiber across 1,600 cities in India. The visible fibre-based fixed-line broadband service will allow ultra-high-speed broadband Plan (up to 1 Gbps), entertainment-OTT apps, TV video calling and various other features.
JioFiber broadband will also offer ‘First Day and First Show’ feature in 3-different plans starting at Rs 2,499,
a move which will provide premium customers to see new releases in the convenience of their homes.
The 3-plans are Diamond (Rs 2,499), Platinum (Rs 3,999) & Titanium (Rs 8,499).
Mukesh, in 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL),
had stated that the JioFiber supporters would be able to watch latest movies ‘first day, first show’ at their houses.
The RIL Chairman had told this service called “Jio First Day First Show” will work out in the midst of 2020 and will be open to all JioFiber-Users.

The ‘First Day, First Show’ which has the potential to interrupt the entertainment industry, will be ready in layouts starting from Rs 2,499/-and go up to Rs 8,499/- per month. JioFiber users will have the path to 3, 6 and 12-month plans that give much higher value, the company said in a statement.
