Jawa Perak Bobber Launch: Jawa has started the Perak bobber in India at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The bikes will be accessible through 105 dealerships for now with more development of 75 dealerships. Bookings for the bike will start in Jan 2020 which will be replaced by deliveries in April.
The Perak is power by a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine which develops 30bhp and 31nm of torque. According to Mahindra, the new driver has been developed from scratch and will be BS-VI ready. The new Jawa motorcycle gets an entirely new frame and is distinct from that observed on the Mahindra Mojo. The bike makes a telescopic fork at the beginning and twins shock absorbers at the back with a gas-charged canister at the bottom. Braking handled by a single disc brake at the front and a rear drum brake at the end. Therefore, the Perak too makes a dual-channel ABS.
The reintroduction of the kind in India took place 22 years after closing their operations in the nation back in 1996. Back in 2016, Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s biggest automobile conglomerate, took the brand permission to create and sell Jawa bikes in the Indian sub-continent. The new Jawa bike makes a rounded light, a curvy Jawa Perak Bobber Launch Video.
Tank, spoke wheels a flat seat. The engine, which was announced by Mahindra last month, gets twin exhaust mufflers, like this older Jawa motorcycles. Apart from this, other old-school design elements like round signs, round glasses & telescopic fork, as seen on the Royal Enfield Classic 350, more add to the retro appeal of the bike.
