Jagan’s pilot project to provide tribal women: The pilot project would be executed in 77 tribal and sub-plan mandals in December.
AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to execute a pilot project to produce nutritious food to women, and children under 6-years of age in tribal and sub_plan areas.

The pilot project would be executed in 77 tribal and sub-plan mandals in Dec by producing nutritious food deserving Rs 1,062 per month to each pregnant woman and also for post-delivery care.
Under the plan, YSR Bala Sanjeevini kits will also give to women.
This kit covers meals & eggs for 25 days, 200 ml of milk, 2 kg of of wheat flour in the 1st week, 0.5 kg groundnut chikkis in the 2nd week, 0.5 kg of ragi flour, half a kg of jaggery in the 3rd week and 0.5 kg of sesame-seed sweetmeats in the 4th week.
Similarly, each child below six years would provide nutritious food deserving Rs 560 each month.
Children below 6-years would be given nutritious food within Anganwadi centres for 25-days in a month in 77 tribal and sub_plan mandals which would cover meals, eggs, 200 ml of milk & other dietary food.Jagan’s pilot project to provide tribal women.
As part of the pilot project, 36-tribal mandals have recognised with 1 in Srikakulam district, 7 in Vizianagaram district, 11 each in Visakhapatnam, East Godavari district and 6 in West Godavari district.
In total, 41 sub_plan mandals have recognised as part of the pilot project including 19 in Srikakulam, 6-in Visakhapatnam, 4 in East Godavari, 3-each in West Godavari, Prakasam, Kurnool, and Guntur district.
