India Vs West Indies: Indian cricket team will kick off their campaign in the ICC Test Championship when they take on West Indies in the 2-Test series, starting Thursday (Aug 22).

West Indies first played a Test matches with India in 1948/49 when they toured India to play 5-Test matches.

The Indians travelled West Indies in 2011 and 2016 and ended up winning on both the times. They won the series 1-0 under the leadership of MS Dhoni in 2011 & 2016 India won the series 2-0 under Virat Kohli’s captaincy.
