George Reddy Movie Review

What Is the Film About?

George Reddy Movie Review: George Reddy is Sandeep Madhav, an intelligent student enters Osmania University but revolutions next the differences in the campus in the name of Caste, Religion, Money. He reaches by the oppressed & becomes their voice recording Student Politics. The release is all about how George Reddy worked on various and how he killed.

How Is Sandeep Madhav’s Play?

Sandeep Madhav exceeded in the role of George Reddy. He pulled off George Reddy’s style perfectly by following little data available about him.

Critically, he should have done more in essential areas, but that is mostly due to poor-etching of his role.

Direction by Jeevan Reddy?

Choosing a subject like George Reddy professes confusion. You have to discover a balance between what he reached for and how he did that.

The first part has many versions. People look at George Reddy from different points of view. So the director focused on the 2nd part and decided to commercialize the heroism in George Reddy. But is George Reddy’s Story full without showing what he stood for? No. The director missed here. There are various moments in the movie, which are great, but at the end of the day, a few great moments do not make a great film.

There is no strong reason and conflict point in the story. There are conflict points in George Reddy’s account, but the director may have started to put them across the table. When you see a man working for a cause that you do not know, you do not connect to the story. That is what precisely wrong with George Reddy. The Fire Ball fight, the Interim Speech, and the Blade Fight in the 2nd Half are excellent and make most of the worth the movie gets. The director hurried the things in the 2nd Half, and everything happens in a hurry. The climax is also not well dealt with.

On the whole, George Reddy lives hype only for a few moments and let down the audience focus moments in the name of fashionable elements. You may try it if you can sit within the movie only for those times.

There are many new actors, and they bring the required raw and natural vibe to the Period Story. Chaitanya Krishna, Satyadev is decent. The guys who performed the characters of Lallan and Rajanna are good as well. The heroine is okay as well. The rest is okay in whatever they offered.

Music, Other Departments?

The Music composed by Suresh Bobbili is excellent. The background score is the main highlight of the film and elevates several scenes. The songs are okay as well. Sudhakar Yakkanti did an excellent job with the camera work leading us to the time of the story. The Production plan of Osmania University is authentic. The editing looks patchy their movie has taken several censor cuts. The writing has been good, but some of the talks worked very well.

Alternative Part

Student Politics and the real problems which helped a Gold Medalist resort to Violence should have appropriately showcased. Along with the production of commercially viable content, the script should have been faithful to George Reddy’s Story.
