Chhichhore box office-day 1 collection Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore, which published this week,
has made Rs 7.32 crore on the opening day of its release, according to trade critic Taran Adarsh.

This is also the 2nd-best opening for a Sushant Singh Rajput movie, beginning after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story which opened at Rs 21.30 crores. Taran wrote
Chhichhore box office-day 1 An earlier report in Box Office India said that Saaho’s group had been hit. The film saw a notable drop on Friday, a decline of nearly 45% from Thursday. The constant rains could have dampened spirits, but the movie did make an expected Rs 3.50 cr nett, making it a hit in Hindi. The report calculated that even if the film maintains a similar momentum, it can earn Rs 140 cr net or even Rs 150 crore net.
Chhichhore crosses the lives of a couple, played by Sushant and Shraddha, from their college days to their earlier years. Sushant essays the role of Anni, a boy who doesn’t attempt to face girls, especially Maya, played by Shraddha. The gang, who get left after college, reunite years later in a hospital when one of their friends meets with an accident. The film also stars Prateik Babbar, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Shukla and Naveen Polishetty in leading roles. The film has been helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and co-produced by Fox Star Studios.
Saaho, meanwhile, was expected to be Telugu actor’s Prabhas’ entry into Hindi films after Baahubali. Critics have done well ticket windows followed the film, use a hit Hindi. The film is high on action, but its writing has come up for heavy criticism.
Saaho also noted Shraddha’s debut in the South Indian film industry. It also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Murli Sharma and Chunky Pandey in prominent roles. Directed by Sujeeth, the film has been released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It hit the big screens on August 20 this year.
